To honor the 30th anniversary of the Hubble Telescope and to celebrate its global scientific and artistic impact, Art of the Cosmos has gathered a stellar group of International creatives inspired by the iconic imagery of our Universe.

Using the powerful combination of Art and Science, our roster of talented artists has shaped amazing works across multiple media, including painting, sculpture, glass, music, video, photography, digital, fashion and more. Each piece has been thoughtfully and masterfully created to inspire awe and awaken curiosity about our unique position amongst the stars.

The story of the Hubble telescope is defined by Vision, Ingenuity, Creativity and Co-operation. These attributes lie at the heart of our events. We invite you to visit us and be a part of it.

ART AND SCIENCE EXHIBITION

APRIL 22 – AUGUST 22, 2020

A free exhibition at the Raymond Theater in Old Pasadena featuring painting, sculpture, photography, music, light, video, glass, multi-media and digital – inspired by the powerful images of the Hubble Space Telescope, NASA, and the European Space Agency.

THE PASADENA MUSEUM OF HISTORY

JULY 15 – OCTOBER 15, 2020

The Pasadena Museum of History will host a special exhibition of the Art and Science pieces created by California artists and feature the rich history of the Spitzer, Kepler, Hubble, Hale and Webb Telescopes.

STARS CREATIVITY CONFERENCE

JUNE 26 – JUNE 28, 2020

This multi-media conference celebrates Art and Science as a doorway to creativity, innovation and connection. It features 18 speakers over three days including artists, scientists, NASA astronauts, designers and educators. It will be presented in the dynamic and unique style of TED Talks with panel discussions, audience participation and Q&A.
